Eco-Friendly Fashion Show

SWANCC offers a limited number of fashion shows to schools, colleges and adult community groups. This thirty-minute educational presentation features wearable articles made, in part, from recycled #1 PET plastic pop bottles and other recycled materials and environmentally-friendly fibers. The purpose of this production is to heighten awareness about waste reduction practices (reduce, reuse, recycle) and the importance of buying products that have less of a burden on our Earth’s natural resources.

Due to the time involved in the production of this show, SWANCC requests that there be a minimum of 100 people in attendance, per show (excluding models). For school groups, inviting science, consumer education and fashion design classes is recommended. Due to the nature of the clothing items, shows are only scheduled from mid-fall to early spring. The fashion show is best presented in an auditorium and requires a minimum of 25 models of all sizes, including 6 male modeals.
